Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the operator of Opus55Video (opus55video.com) ("we", "us"). By creating an account, buying credits or using the service, you agree to these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Opus55Video, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live (or have a parent or guardian's permission) to buy a subscription or credits. If you use the service for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. What the service does

You give us a web address (URL) or a written description. An AI model writes the video as animation code, your browser plays it as a preview, and when you download, your browser renders the frames and encodes an MP4 file on your device. You can ask for changes, and each change creates a new version.

The service draws motion graphics with code — shapes, type, colour and, in URL mode, the logo from the page you submitted. It cannot load images from the internet and cannot produce photographs, photorealistic images or footage of real people.

The service uses the Claude Opus 5.5 model provided by Anthropic, PBC through its API. Results depend on the model and on your input, and the same request can produce different results. We may change, add or remove features, styles and models, and we will tell you in advance if a change materially reduces what paid users get.

3. Your account

Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at support@opus55video.com if you think your account has been accessed without permission. One person may not create multiple accounts to collect free credits.

4. Credits, subscriptions and payment

• Prices. Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number.
• Credits. Previews, changes and downloads use credits. The cost of each action is shown before you confirm it. If a preview fails, its credits are returned automatically. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or resold, and expire at the end of their validity period: 30 days for monthly plan credits, 365 days for annual plan credits and 365 days for top-up credits. Credit top-ups require an active subscription.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the price then in effect, and you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel. If we change a subscription price, we will tell you at least 15 days before it applies to your next renewal.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops future renewals; your plan and remaining credits stay available until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank so we can fix it quickly.

5. Your content and your videos

"Your content" means the prompts, instructions and URLs you submit, and the material we read from those URLs at your request. "Outputs" means the animation code and videos produced for you.

• You keep whatever rights you have in your content. You give us permission to store, process and send your content to our service providers (including Anthropic) only as needed to run the service for you.
• As between you and us, you own your outputs and may use them for personal and commercial purposes, including ads, launches and social posts. We do not claim ownership of your outputs.
• Outputs are generated by AI. Similar requests from other users may produce similar outputs, and we cannot promise that an output is unique or that it can be protected by copyright.
• Your videos are private to your account. We do not publish them. If we later offer a public gallery, your videos will only appear there if you choose to share them.

6. Making a video from a URL

When you submit a URL, we fetch that one page and read its text, title, colours and logo to write your video. By submitting a URL you confirm that the website is yours, or that you are authorised by its owner to create promotional material for it, including the use of its name, logo and other brand elements. Do not submit other companies' websites to make videos that could suggest they created or endorse something they did not. You are responsible for how you use brand names and logos in your outputs.

7. Acceptable use and content screening

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy and Anthropic's Usage Policy. Sexual content, content that sexualises minors, graphic violence, hate, impersonation and infringing use of other people's brands are not allowed.

You agree that everything you submit, and the text of every video made for you, is screened automatically before it is generated or shown, as described in the Acceptable Use Policy. We may refuse any request, pause generation on an account after repeated blocked requests, remove content, and suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Screening helps us enforce the rules; it does not make us responsible for what you submit or how you use your outputs.

8. AI output disclaimer

Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive or unsuitable for your purpose. They are not professional, legal, financial or medical advice. Review every output, including all text, claims, names and logos, before you publish or rely on it. You are responsible for the outputs you download and use.

9. Trademarks and third parties

Claude and Opus are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC. We use them only to describe the model that powers the service. Opus55Video is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Anthropic. Other names and logos that appear in outputs belong to their owners.

The website's software, design and our own original content belong to us or our licensors, and these Terms do not give you rights to them beyond using the service.

10. Copyright and trademark complaints

If you believe content on the service infringes your rights, follow the process on our Copyright & Trademark page. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close your account, without refund of used credits, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Downloads depend on your browser and device; supported browsers are listed in our FAQ.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer, you keep any rights your local law gives you.

14. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your content, the URLs you submit, the way you use your outputs, or your breach of these Terms.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 15 days' notice by email or in the service before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new Terms apply; if you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
